Cary Elwes Biography

Cary Elwes, the acclaimed English actor, screenwriter, and author, was born in Westminster, London, to a family of creatives. His father was a renowned portrait painter, and his mother an interior designer and socialite. Elwes is best known for his iconic roles in films such as The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, among others. He has also made memorable appearances in popular TV series like The X-Files and Psych, and currently stars in the Crackle series, The Art of More.
