Cary Elwes Biography
Cary Elwes, the acclaimed English actor, screenwriter, and author, was born in Westminster, London, to a family of creatives. His father was a renowned portrait painter, and his mother an interior designer and socialite. Elwes is best known for his iconic roles in films such as The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, among others. Cary Elwes found love in photographer Lisa Marie Kurbikoff in 1991, when they met at a chili cook-off in Malibu. The couple became engaged in 1997 and exchanged wedding vows in 2000. They have been blessed with a child and have been enjoying a happy family life together ever since.
