Early Life

Chris Evans hails from Boston, Massachusetts and was born to parents Lisa and Robert Evans. He has a sibling group consisting of two sisters and a brother, with his brother Scott also pursuing a career in acting. Evans completed his education at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School before moving to New York to attend classes at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.


Chris Evans launched his career with the lead role in the comedy film, “Not Another Teen Movie.” He then went on to star in “Cellular.” In 2005, he rose to fame with his portrayal of the Human Torch in “Fantastic Four,” which is considered to be his breakthrough role. He reprised this role in “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” Evans then starred alongside Dakota Fanning in “Push.” However, his most successful role to date is that of Captain America, which he played in “Captain America: The First Avenger” and its sequel, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” Evans and Fanning have collaborated on several films.
