Jose Sixto Rafael Dantes III, professionally known as Dingdong Dantes, was born on August 2, 1980, in Quezon City, Philippines, to Sixto Zafra Dantes Jr. and Maria Angelita “Angeline” Enriquez Gonzalez.

Career

As a child, Dingdong Dantes started his journey as a model, featuring in a dairy product advertisement at the age of two. He then made his movie debut at 14, appearing in Shake, Rattle, and Roll V. By the time he turned 17, he had already landed a prominent role in GM’s youth-oriented series T.G.I.S.

In 2011, Dingdong Dantes co-starred with Regine Velasquez in the comedy primetime TV series, I Heart You, Pare!. Besides his acting skills, he is also an excellent host, having hosted several programs, including the annual Binibining Pilipinas Pageant. Since 2013, he has been an exclusive talent of GMA Network, where he continues to excel.

In 2014, Dingdong Dantes tied the knot with Marian Rivera. Their daughter, Maria Letizia, was born in November 2015.
