Damon’s childhood friend and frequent collaborator in several movies, Ben Affleck, lived nearby, and the two have remained close friends since childhood. Interestingly, they are also distantly related as Damon is Affleck’s tenth cousin, once removed, through a shared ancestor from New England.

Career
