Meghan Ory Biography
Canadian actress Meghan Ory, born in Victoria, British Columbia, attended Royal Oak Middle School and Claremont Secondary School. Her pursuit of an acting career began after receiving the Fine Arts Award for Acting from Royal Oak in 1996. Ory is most recognized for playing Red Riding Hood/Ruby on ABC’s Once Upon a Time and starring in CBS’s Intelligence as Riley Neal.
In 1999, she made her debut as an actress in the Fox Family Channel movie The Darklings, co-starring Suzanne Somers and Timothy Busfield. She later appeared as a guest on The Crow: Stairway to Heaven before landing a regular role on Fox Family’s Higher Ground in 2000 alongside Hayden Christensen and A.J. Cook. She also made an appearance on MTV’s 2ge+her in the same year before joining the cast of the Canadian TV series Vampire High in 2001.
