Ryan Guzman is a multi-talented performer who is known for his work as both a Hollywood film actor and a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter. His career began as a model in San Francisco in 2006, while he was attending college in Sacramento and pursuing his passion for MMA by training and fighting in his free time.

Born to Lisa (Hudson) and Ray Guzman on September 21, 1987, in Abilene, Texas, Ryan Guzman is of mixed heritage. His father is of Mexican descent, while his mother was born in California and has a blend of English, Scottish, German, Swedish, French, and Dutch ancestry. Guzman relocated to Sacramento, his mother’s hometown, at a young age, and graduated from West Campus High School in 2005. He went on to attend Sierra College, and he has a younger sibling named Steven.

By September 2010, Ryan Guzman had made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles. Within six months of his move, he began to achieve success by appearing in various commercials. As a result of his commercial work, Guzman developed a growing interest in acting. He soon began taking acting classes and was signed by Luber Roklin Management. It didn’t take long for him to score his big break – just two months later, he was cast in the leading role in the highest-grossing film dance franchise to date. Since making the move to LA, Guzman has been keeping busy by working on a variety of popular films and TV shows.
