Ryan Rodney Reynolds, a Canadian actor, is best known for his performances in movies, television, stage, and as a voice actor. He has played numerous iconic roles, such as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in Green Lantern and Wade Wilson/Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In addition, he has appeared on popular TV shows such as Two Guys and a Girl, where he played Michael Bergen, and the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside, where he portrayed Billy Simpson.

Born on October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Ryan Reynolds is the youngest of four brothers. His father, James Chester Reynolds, was a food wholesaler, and his mother, Tammy, worked as a retail-store saleswoman. While two of his elder brothers became policemen, Ryan attended Kitsilano Secondary School and later Kwantlen Polytechnic University. However, he dropped out before completing his studies.

In 2002, Ryan Reynolds started dating Canadian singer Alanis Morissette. Later, he married Scarlett Johansson in 2008 but they divorced in 2011. In 2012, Reynolds married Blake Lively, and the couple has one daughter together.
