Zac Efron Biography

Zac Efron is a talented American actor and singer who rose to fame in the early 2000s. He gained immense popularity as a teen idol after his notable performances in High School Musical, Summerland, and Hairspray. Efron has appeared in various successful movies including 17 Again, Me and Orson Welles, Charlie St. Cloud, New Year’s Eve, The Lucky One, That Awkward Moment, Neighbors, and The Lorax.
Starting in 2002, Zac Efron made appearances in guest roles on popular television series such as Firefly, ER, and The Guardian. He notably played Cameron Bale on the WB’s Summerland, which has since been cancelled.
In the year 2006, Efron played the lead role of Troy Bolton, a popular student and basketball team captain, in the Disney Channel’s original movie High School Musical. Although the film was initially made with “low expectations,” it became a massive hit.
